These emails were released in April of 2026 and highlighted sustainable products for Earth month. While we did highlight these products as sustainable in April, we remain committed to a greener tomorrow, no matter when the campaigns hit. These were published once per week for three weeks and received above average KPIs.
I worked on the initial direction, helped the graphic designer connect the threads and wrote all of the content listed below.
These were recent emails that have changed the way I think about B2B marketing. While I always see B2B marketers really pushing metrics, supply chain data and extremely technical language, I decided to test an approach where we'd speak to the people behind the business. The goal was to cut through their inbox with content that people can smile at.
While this approach wouldn't work for all B2B companies, McKernan's commitment to SMBs and accessibility of products to those starting out paved the way for more fun, seasonal product-focused emails. These only represent a smaller fraction of the emails, but if results continue, these will be a more regular occurrence.
This email landed at a 4.1% CTR and a 32% open rate. The standards for the industrial packaging industry are a 1% CTR and a 30% open rate.
While our average, overall CTR is 2%, this email quickly became the email with the highest CTR of the year so far.
This email landed at a 1.7% CTR and a 31% open rate. While this didn't do as well as the previous email, we noticed a spike in engagement after an unexpected lull in May.
The Black Friday campaign was done across our mid-monthly (a monthly publication with varying themes), an email series, social media and a flyer.
The video was used in a Meta ad campaign and received a 6.7% CTR and over 35,000 unique views. I created the video to match the vibe of the email using the same assets in Adobe After Effects.
